I'm Like a 5 Year Old on Christmas Eve

This is coming tomorrow and I'm so excited I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight.

I Choose a Block of Cheese

No new design yet. But that's only because I'm having issues trying to decide what the background should be. While you all anxiously await my new look, please enjoy the following entry.

Super Daysh asked, "If you were to be reincarniated, would you choose to come back as a cow or a block of cheese?" Well, Super Daysh, if I were to be reincarniated, I would choose a block of cheese. Here's why:

Cheese is good. Cheese is yummy. People love cheese. In my opinion, cheese is one of the basic food groups.

Somewhere in my childhood, I discovered a love for the melted cheese sandwich. Now, my friends, the melted cheese sandwich is different from a grilled cheese. A melted cheese sandwich is exactly that - melted cheese on two slices of bread. This is my comfort food. I love cheese sandwiches.

The perfect melted cheese sandwich actually has cheese oozing out of the sides of the bread. It's warm and when nothing else in the world can satisfy you, the melted cheese can. Sometimes, all it takes to make me feel better after a rough day at work or a cold winter's day is the comfort of melted cheese.

In order to have the perfect comfort of melted cheese, you have to start with a block of cheese. You don't need much more than that. So if I were to be reincarnated, I would choose the block of cheese. Because then, people could make melted cheese sandwiches with me. I would bring a smile to the faces of those who anxiously waited to gobble me up; I would provide comfort. I would be good and yummy and even help provide some bone support (you know, because of the calcium). And when people would think of me, they would love me and know that they could always count on me to provide some relief.

And that, Super Daysh, is why I would be reincarnated as a block of cheese. Plus, cows are stinky and nobody wants to be the stinky one.

Please Repeat That Again

I promise, I haven't given up on my promise to write blog posts about the things requested by my readers or give you a new design. I just haven't done it yet. But I will.

But there's something really bothering me at the moment. What in the world is wrong with Paula Abdul? Did you catch her in Idol? Because she's crazy! And I'm convinced more than ever that the show is rigged. It's a conspiracy I tell you, a conspiracy!

Giving You What You Want

As requested by some of my most loyal readers, here are some blog entries you have to look forward to. I'm still taking requests, so go ahead and leave a comment!

- Why I would rather be reincarnated as a block of cheese instead of a cow.
- Some things that inspire me lately.
- What I did over the weekend.

Also, my buddy Super Daysh showed me some design tips today. A new look will be unveiled shortly (along with a link to SuperDaysh's blog. She's awesome. You'll like her, I promise.) Oh, you lucky readers...you have so much to look forward to!

Dear Blogging Friends

OK. You win. I will not delete the blog.

However, I am suffering from post-vacation, not wanting to deal with reality, extreme exposure to UV rays syndrome. So I'm asking for your help. To my blogging friends: what would you like me to blog about? You share your ideas and I'll post a blog entry. Of course, some exceptions will apply. I'll let you know the exceptions as they arise.

And for those of you who offered suggestions/help for my blog-hating ways - thank you. And I will take you up on those offers to spruce up the place. A little remodeling is in order.

We've Got a Dilemma Here Folks

I hate my blog. I really do. It's not cool. It needs help. I don't know how to fix it.

So I've played with the idea of just getting rid of the blog. I have no idea how many people read this thing (more importantly, I have no idea how many people are actually entertained by my blog). It's not used to keep my friends and family up-to-date. Let's face it...I"m a pretty open book. If you know me, you know what's going on in my life (if I want you to know.) But I can't just delete this blog. My brother and his wife already pleaded with me not to delete it. Apparently they are entertained. But seriously, how do I fix the blog?

Oh, what's a girl to do.
