We've Got (More) Letters

Dear Co-workers,

Nine non-stop hours of talking is a little much in a day, don't you think? I mean, I'm all about chatting and being friends with the people you work with, but seriously, all.day.long. Not to be rude or anything, but I really don't care about why children don't eat broccoli, why your point-of-view is better than what anyone else may think, or the mating patterns of birds in South America. Please, stop. It might be time to come up for a breath anyway.

Love,

Your very annoyed co-worker who is seriously trying to meet a deadline

Dear Weight Watchers,

Today you paid off. I love it when someone looks at you and says, "You look really good." Thank you. Thank you very much. I guess I'll continue on this quest for a couple of more months. But if you want to send more compliments my way, I wouldn't mind.

Love,

A thinner, but not quite there yet, Jen

Dear Olympics,

You rock.

Love,

A fan

Dear Movie "Valentine's Day",

You have forever ruined my view of Bradley Cooper. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but you have definitely changed the way I will forever look at him. But you get a bit of redemption for Julia Roberts and her fabulous character.

Love,

The movie-goer who saw the movie Valentine's Day the day after Valentine's Day

Dear Valentine's Day (the real holiday),

Thank you for sending me two of the hottest dates around! We had a blast! Seriously, I could not have had hotter Valentine's Day dates this year. Yes, they were 5 and 3, and my nephews, but can you image anything more fun than Olive Garden, snow cones, playing trucks, and watching Handy Manny? I think not.

Love,

Me

Dear Work Deadline,

I realize you are quickly approaching. But I really couldn't concentrate most of the day because of the yappers. And yes, wasting time writing these ridiculous letters probably isn't helping much either. I really needed my blog to know it's still loved. You understand, right? Tomorrow, I promise you will get my full attention.

Love,

The girl who does well under tight deadlines

Your letters are great, Miss Skinny Minny! Sorry you had non stop chatters at work and glad you had fun with your two cute dates and I saw that movie too. Yes Julia Roberts did a great job!
